The first Thursday of every month join us and fellow quilters to work on any project you like. Set up your machine and sew all day. Bring along a treat to share and a little sack lunch or find one of the many great places to eat within walking distance from Village Dry Goods. Prepayment is required to attend, so stop by the store to pay or go online to reserve your space.

The Come Color Club gathers monthly to delve into the delights of coloring and painting on fabric. Our primary medium is "Derwent Inktense" colored pencils, although "Prisma" colored pencils and fabric-compatible paints are also embraced. Creativity knows no bounds here. Please bring your chosen pattern already traced onto your fabric. To reserve your place, monthly pre-payment for the club is required. Registration is available online or in-store.

Bring your sewing machine and learn how to clean and oil it properly. Please ensure that your machine is a Featherweight. A Singer Featherweight is specifically classified as either the Singer 221 or 222 model. It is made of cast aluminum and weighs just over 11 pounds. A quick way to identify this model is by its sewing surface: the bed extension flips up on the left side, allowing it to fit compactly into its case. Please note that this class will be rescheduled in case of bad weather.

Learn how to crochet amazing and unique Granny Squares using the Granny Square Card Deck. This box has color photo cards with written and diagram instructions for each block. This will be an ongoing club starting Wednesday, May 13th, 2:00 to 4:00 and will continue to meet the 2nd Wednesday every month. There is no obligation, come whenever it works for you. The mini piecing obsession is real! We will meet to explore our love for all things tiny in quilting. This club will provide a fun opportunity for learning, discussion, and discovery as we make mini quilt blocks. We will also experiment with all of Lynn's rulers you may already have. Lisa McComb will be there to help with any Punch Needle project. A $15 fee is required in advance each month; this not only covers your class but also confirms your attendance.

You do not want to miss this wonderful 2-part class with National Quilting Instructor Deonn Stott. Friday April 17, 1:00 to 4:00 and Saturday. April 18, 10:30 to 1:30. She will teach us the skills to make this amazing quilt. The pattern is Purdy Bird by Campbell Soup Diary from Germany. The quilt measures 56 x 56 inches, and comes together quickly using a variety of quilting techniques. You should be able to get much of this quilt finished in the 2 sessions of class. Patterns are available now at Village Dry Goods.
