Need a Big Wonderful Bag? This is for you. This is a darling bag big enough to hold all you need. This is a 2 part class, Tuesday Sept. 29 and Wednesday Sept. 30 both from 10:30 to 2:30.

The first Thursday of every month join us and fellow quilters to work on any project you like. Set up your machine and sew all day. The Come Color Club gathers monthly to delve into the delights of coloring and painting on fabric. Our primary medium is "Derwent Inktense" colored pencils, although "Prisma" colored pencils and fabric-compatible paints are also embraced. Creativity knows no bounds here. Please bring your chosen pattern already traced onto your fabric. To reserve your place, monthly pre-payment for the club is required. Registration is available online or in-store.

We are so excited to have Janet Nesbitt here for Crazy Camp on Friday & Saturday Sept. 25, and 26, 2026. Two days of Crazy fun with Janet teaching her popular technique of cutting and shuffling fabrics for her fun and whimsical designs. You can use any Buggy Barn or Crazy pattern you have or get a new one. She will be teaching, doing a trunk show and will have many of her products here to purchase. Bring your sewing machine and learn how to clean and oil it properly. Please ensure that your machine is a Featherweight. A Singer Featherweight is specifically classified as either the Singer 221 or 222 model. It is made of cast aluminum and weighs just over 11 pounds. A quick way to identify this model is by its sewing surface: the bed extension flips up on the left side, allowing it to fit compactly into its case. Please note that this class will be rescheduled in case of bad weather.

Learn how to crochet amazing and unique Granny Squares using the Granny Square Card Deck. This box has color photo cards with written and diagram instructions for each block. This will be an ongoing club meeting the 2nd Wednesday or every month from 2:00 to 4:00. There is no obligation, come whenever it works for you. This is a monthly club for those who have done rug hooking before, OR you have taken The Beginner Rug Hooking Class at Village Dry Goods. Lisa McComb will be here to guide you through projects of your choice. She will also have ideas and suggestions for new projects. Monthly Club fee of $20 is required in advance to save your spot. Come join us on the first Saturday of every month starting September 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 to learn how to use your Studio 180 Rulers to their full potential! We'll teach you how to: understand how quilt patterns are constructed, adapt patterns using Studio 180 rulers ("Tuckerize" them), create blocks that are accurate and perfectly sized, make quilt assembly easier with square, consistent pieces. You will build confidence, improve accuracy and precision, learn new techniques, and enjoy a fun, supportive group. Kits will be available for purchase or you can use your own fabric or scraps.

Join Julie once a month, or whenever you can, to work on a project of your choice, share tips, find patterns, and learn the art of wool applique and stitching. This is a great opportunity to work on the new Wool Block of the Month projects you will soon see at Village Dry Goods.
