Do you have unfinished projects (UFOs) that need completing? Of course you do—we all do! Join us for a relaxing two-day event at Village Dry Goods, where you can finish up a few of those projects. Remember, Shop Hop is coming at the end of April, and you'll want to finish your UFOs before adding more to your collection.
Cost: $ 100.00
The Come Color Club gathers monthly to delve into the delights of coloring and painting on fabric. Our primary medium is "Derwent Inktense" colored pencils, although "Prisma" colored pencils and fabric-compatible paints are also embraced. Creativity knows no bounds here. Please bring your chosen pattern already traced onto your fabric. To reserve your place, monthly pre-payment for the club is required. Registration is available online or in-store.
Bring your sewing machine and learn how to clean and oil it properly. Please ensure that your machine is a Featherweight. A Singer Featherweight is specifically classified as either the Singer 221 or 222 model. It is made of cast aluminum and weighs just over 11 pounds. A quick way to identify this model is by its sewing surface: the bed extension flips up on the left side, allowing it to fit compactly into its case. Please note that this class will be rescheduled in case of bad weather.
Come to Charm School with Fran. Each month you will receive a new free pattern designed to use with a Charm Pack. You can use one of those Charm Packs you bought because you loved it so much and never used it, or, you can purchase the kit we will have available each month using the charm pack and fabrics picked by Fran. Each month will be a new pattern, charm pack and coordinating fabrics. The featured picture is the February pattern, fabrics and charm pack. Future patterns and fabrics will be posted on line for you to see before you sign up each month. You must pay for class in advance to reserve your spot.
