A one-time class to teach you the basics of Rug Hooking and prepare you to join our monthly Rug Hooking club. A kit that has everything you need to make this cute pumpkin will be available to purchase directly from the teacher the day of the class.

Cost: $ 20.00
A fun day once a month to get together with fellow quilters and work on your projects. We will be at THE HIVE event center across the street from Village Dry Goods so come set up your machine and sew all day. Bring along a treat to share and a little sack lunch if you are planning to stay all day. There is also many great places to eat within walking distance. Prepayment is required to attend, so stop by the store to pay or go online to reserve your space.

English paper piecing is an easy and extremely accurate hand-piecing technique that uses paper templates as foundations to create geometric shapes such as diamonds, triangles and hexagons. A paper template is placed in the center of a larger fabric patch. After preparing the shapes they are then sewn together to create the design.

Learn how to create great fabric prints with ink using everyday household items. This is a hands on class, you will create and take home your own unique fabric to make into anything you want.

Bring your sweet machine and learn how to clean and oil it. Please check to make sure your machine is a Featherweight. A Singer Featherweight is limited to the Singer 221 or 222 model classification only and is made of cast aluminum, weighing just over 11 pounds. It also has a quick identifying feature with the sewing surface or bed extension that flips up on the left side allowing it to compactly fit into its case.

This is a monthly club for Needle Punchers of all skill levels to come meet together and work on any project they would like. Lisa McComb will be here to help you with your projects. Club Fee of $15 must be paid in advance to hold your spot. Payment can be made in store or online. Class will be cancelled if less than 3 people have signed up. You will be notified the day before class if it has been cancelled.

This is a two part class. The first class is all about learning how to make this chevron insert so come prepared to sew. The second class is bonus time for you to complete this adorable bag using fabric of your choice. The pattern comes in 4 sizes, small, medium, large and extra large. You can make any size in class. The sample is the extra large bag.

Learn the technique, tips and tricks to become an expert in paper piecing. The first class is all about learning to paper piece (it does not have to be as tiny as the sample). The second class is a bonus time to work on your project . Come prepared to sew and learn at both classes. If you are ready to go after the first class you do not have to feel obligated to come to the second class, but you will miss all the fun.

This informative lecture by Lynn Hopkins teaches you how to rewrite and rethink traditional block patterns using new, more efficient piecing techniques.

A group that meets monthly to work on stitching projects. Instructor Julie Anderson will lead this class and help with any project you are working on. She will help teach new stitches and share her tips and tricks. You must sign up at the store or online to hold your spot each month. No long-term commitment just sign up and pay for any month you want to come.

A fun coloring project using "The Stitchwitch Spellbinders Quilt Show" pattern by Crabapple Hill. We will trace the patterns, and color with Inktense Pencils, embroider the coloring, and share hints and tips on how to piece and assemble the full quilt. A Fat Quarter Bundle will be available for purchase. The fabric to trace the pattern on is Primitive Muslum by Primitive Gatherings and is available at Village Dry Goods. You can also use any light-colored fabric of your choice.

Do you have blocks from an exchange or orphan blocks that you don't know what quilt pattern to make? Come join Susan and learn to combine your blocks with those wonderful border stripes that come in fabric lines.

Make a wonderful Quilted Tamarack Jacket with Kellie. You can use a quilt you have or you can quilt pieces in class. This is a two-part class, your fee covers both classes.
