Skill Details:	It's important to have a good understanding of your sewing machine and the fundamentals of sewing. Familiarizing yourself with the features and settings of your machine will enhance your sewing experience and efficiency.
Requirements:	No preparation is needed before class. Supplies for class: - Pattern - 1/4 yard of HeatnBond Lite or SteamASeam2 - Fabric choices - Black felt (6” x 10”) - Pencil, paper scissors, and fabric scissors Optional: sewing machine, matching thread, and open-toe foot for the machine
Instructor:	Pam Weston
Instructor Bio:	I started sewing when I was 12, and have been designing almost as long. I started with doll dresses, costumes, prom dresses, and wedding dresses, then moved on to quilts and more. My sister and I founded the company Sage Fabric & Design in 2017. I love designing! The majority of my designs are appliqué, but I didn’t stop there. I also designed quilts, paper-piecing projects, and figurines.
