Beginning Paper Piecing with Liz

| Requirements: | Fabric needed per block: Twenty 1.5 inch strips at least 4 inches long (all strips can be different to make a scrappy look). If you want a 3 color look as in the picture, bring 8 strips of one color, 4 strips of another, and 8 strips of back ground fabric. Also you will need (4) - 3.5 inch squares for the corners and (1) - 4 inch square for the middle. Supplies needed for class: Sewing machine, Add-a-Quarter ruler, 50 weight thread, rotary cutter, small cutting mat or rotating cutting mat, travel iron and ironing surface or seam roller, sewing scissors, paper scissors, glue stick and square ruler at least 7.5 inches or bigger. |
